  2. Make your thesis statement good. – The thesis statement forms the foundation of your paper so it’s crucial to make it good. It should be supported by evidence and easily proven. Have someone else check your thesis to make sure it makes sense.
  3. Create an outline. – Even more important than the first draft is the outline. It lists down the main points of your paper and puts them in a logical order. This ensures a proper flow from beginning to end. At the same time, an outline helps you organize your thoughts making it easier to put into writing.
  4. Cite your sources properly. – Citing sources is the tricky part on how to write a good capstone paper. The key to doing this is know the format rules and follow them. How you do this will depend on whether you’re using APA, MLA or other citation rules.
